Roasted On the Stalk Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Brussels Sprout Stalk
  • 3/4 cup maple Syrup
  • 1/4 cup cup Olive Oil
  • enough Aluminum Foil enough to cover 'en papillote'
  • Dried Cranberries garnish

Instructions
 

  • wash well
  • trim up
  • preheat to ~== 350F
  • On Sheet of Aluminum Foil for the base.
  • top with Foil and crimp the edges.
  • Coat the stalk with Olive Oil and Maple Syrup.
  • Place on the top shelf of the BBG.
  • keep on high for a few minutes.
  • Dial back the heat and let roast for about 45 minutes.
  • test the sprouts with a fork for al' dente
  • i like mine with a bit of char...

Notes

roasted Brussel Sprouts on the BBG. Steam in a sort of 'En Papillote' style of cooking. Uncover when close to al dente (fork test) and let them finish with a bit of char.
