Blue Moon Brewery:
My quest for a delicious Pulled Pork Sandwich has lead to the Blue Moon Brewery in The RiNo district in Denver Colorado.
There are 3 outside factors that affect the dining experience and ultimately the perfect pork sandwich:
Architectural aesthetics, background mood noise, and the food on the plate.
The RiNo District’s Blue Moon interior is architecturally concentric circles. The circles are noticeable and they fit well into the restaurant theme. The circles pull from the Blue Moon logo into murals, lights, and seating. It works very well. The back ground mood is urban and there is electronic music. It is subtle and also works well into the experience.

All in all rating: 5 out of 5 RiNo’s. Just perfect. (The restaurant is in River North Denver = RiNo)
On the plate rating: 3 out of 5 RiNo’s.
The sandwich is good with no surprises on this staple.
The Carolina BBQ sauce is flavorful and blended in as subtle as the urban electric music playing in the backround. The Blue Moon pulled pork is traditional and good, but I think that the bun could have been toasted longer – to assure that it would not be soggy. This did not take away from the ‘food on the plate’ rating as the pickles and coleslaw are flavorful accompaniments. The hand cut fries arrived seasoned, however cold. These, unfortunately were the miss.
