New Shake Shack location opens in RiNo. The Denver Post’s Dylan Owens states in Life and Culture (2018.03.22) “ushering Denver into what some would consider a new area of burger-hood.” Hmm. according to one shake representative they moved 200 burgers in the first hour. First hand experience is needed. The 20 minute queue wrapped around the corner. in retrospect the queue was in perfect equilibrium (Customers out = Customers in). Fascinating. Rhetorical question seems to be self evident. If you wait longer than 20 minutes does it no longer become fast food? Is this part of the new area of burger -hood?
My 3 factors rule apply for a perfect rating. Architectural aesthetics, background noise, and the food on the plate.

Architecturally – the restaurant fits into the industrial RiNo (river north area Denver). High ceilings brought down to with a false ceiling of track lighting. Reclaimed wood into the tables and chairs. Transparent walls keeps views open and light. Seating is bottle neck. Customers are stalking those that appear to be finish.
Back ground noise echoes. The front line – while ordering – could not hear what was being ordered. So lets skip, since it is what is. The staff is very hospitable and compensates for the noise. They seems to be genuinely pleased to be at Shake Shack.
Food on the tray. Flawless. Hot , Exactly what was ordered and quick – once ordered.
Shake shack meets expectations – a good experience. Rating is 2 out of 3.
