Typical way that I have read – to cook corned beef is to boil. Rinse off the Corned beef, add the spices and boil.

I propose adding a bit of Char adds flavor. the difference is analogous to the difference of boiled vegetable and sauteed. Then i like to add white stock, pickling spices into cheese cloth add all into the dutch oven and braise. The cheese cloth allows me to cook potatoes and baby carrots in the same broth – and after – not pick off the pickling spices. The Corned beef comes out Fantastic!
