Suprise and Delight – Street Eats Food Truck at Creighton

There is a special surprise when a food truck rolls onto campus, a surprise moment that breaks the day’s routine and promises something extraordinary. Today, i caught that suprise – the unmistakable sight of a culinary food truck parked infornt of the dorm, it cheerful colors and sign “Street Eats” enticing aromas and drawing crouds.

Drawn closer i saw the menu board boasting an array of options, but one stuck out: The Honey Dijon Chicken Sandwich. the first bite was pure delight. the tender chicken, coated in a golden Honey Dijon sauce, was perfectly balanced … sweet yet tangy, and the right amount of kick. Its a delight to find something this delicious and well crafted out side a restaurant, and the joy to find it right here on campus was even better.

i was reminded that sometimes the best moment are the ones that take you by surprise.
