Palisade Peach Cobbler
What to do with a case of peaches? Bake!
Equipment
- Sautee pan
- earth ware dish (small for 5 peaches)
- medium size bowl
Ingredients
Filling
- 5 peaches cored sliced and into a sauce pan
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Cobbler Topping
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- cinnamon
Instructions
- cored sliced and into a sauce pan. cook until peach juices are evident in the pan. remove from heat and place in earth ware pan.
- mix the dry ingredients. fold the butter into the dry ingredients.
- mix in the milk into dry ingredients
- spoon over the peaches and bake @ 350F for about 35 minutes when the top is golden Brown.
Notes
as the cobbler was about 90% done – add cinnamon sugar for the finish.
