Palisade Peach Cobbler

What to do with a case of peaches? Bake!

Equipment

  • Sautee pan
  • earth ware dish (small for 5 peaches)
  • medium size bowl

Ingredients
  

Filling

  • 5 peaches cored sliced and into a sauce pan
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Cobbler Topping

  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • cored sliced and into a sauce pan. cook until peach juices are evident in the pan. remove from heat and place in earth ware pan.
  • mix the dry ingredients. fold the butter into the dry ingredients.
  • mix in the milk into dry ingredients
  • spoon over the peaches and bake @ 350F for about 35 minutes when the top is golden Brown.

Notes

as the cobbler was about 90% done – add cinnamon sugar for the finish.
