Travel Eats – Golden Bee
Travel eats lead us to Colorado Springs. The Golden Bee has ambience and charm of an Irish Snug with all the old world charm. The Golden Bee at the Broadmoor, Colorado Springs is a restored English Pub of the 19th century. “You can tell a good pub by the way it fits around your shoulders”.
The Travel took the travel eats quest for a really good Ruben on the road. It is an adventure looking for the holy grail of culinary sandwiches and is worth the undertaking. Thick slices of Corned beef with sauerkraut, swiss and Thousand Island. The preferred is marbled rye bread grilled. A symphony becomes and blend of savory and sweet. The Golden Bee is known for quality ingredients. The Ruben was piled high with extra toppings. The Journey for exceptional Ruben lead to the Bee and did not disappointed. An extra topping was slaw on the side had a bit of a sweet relish twist . More Sweet added to the interesting symphony. The quest for the exceptional Ruben continues.
