Book Review ~ “A Treasury of Great Recipes” Mary and Vincent Price

I had picked up a treasury of great recipes and serendipitous found it to be the travels of Mary and Vincent Price. The wanderings are chronicled from Dodger Stadium to London with recipes included. In Vincent’s writings he shared his “appetite for life”. Pages of cook books are preferred rather than my iPad. The book is loved, has smeg from food ingredients and some of the favorite pages are dog eared. For myself, to read well written travel writing is a delight. To experience others adventures through written word. The recipes Mary and Vincent have gathered are from recipes of the visited restaurants and have stories behind them. The read is a perfect blending of travel, culinary arts and timeless dining..
