Travel Eats – City Park Tavern

Favorite Breakfast place with a view.

Currently a favorite breakfast eatery is the City Park Tavern and we ventured to the lunch menu. During the week of travel – the quest is for a really good Rueben sandwich. It is an adventure worth undertaking. Thick slices of corned beef with layered sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese and thousand Island dressing – grilled to perfection on Rye bread. Each taste is a blend of savory, tangy and creamy flavors. The quest has lead from Diners, specialty shops, and finally to City Park Tavern. While the Rueben is piled high with turkey instead of corned beef, the dressing and melted cheese is a twist on a really good Rueben. The quest still continues for the exceptional, which is sure to satisfy cravings and leave you longing for no more.
